The Bakersfield Chamber Political Action Committee (BAKPAC) is a nonpartisan political action committee affiliated with the Greater Bakersfield Chamber—the most trusted business advocacy organization in Greater Bakersfield region.
Our mission is simple: support leaders and policies that protect local jobs, strengthen our economy, and ensure Greater Bakersfield region remains a great place to live and work.
What We Do
BAKPAC influences state and local elections by:
Endorsing pro-business candidates
Supporting and opposing ballot initiatives
Making campaign contributions
Conducting independent expenditures
We do not support candidates based on party affiliation.
We support candidates based on results, values, and their understanding of business realities.
Governance & Accountability
BAKPAC is governed by an independent Board of Directors composed of respected civic and business leaders. The Board makes all endorsement and funding decisions and ensures every contribution is used strategically and responsibly.
